Fostering - What To Expect:

Fostering a dog is taking a dog into your home and providing it with shelter, care and love until a forever home is found. It is one of the most rewarding things a person can do. This involves caring for your foster dog as you would care for your own dog: offering food, affection, socialization, and exercise to keep the dog happy and healthy. You will report back to the rescue with information about the dog’s personality and behavior and potentially speak with possible adopters to tell them about your foster dog and help the rescue determine if they are a good match. We make sure foster homes have all the resources they need to be successful, from food to leashes and a crate to veterinary care, guidance and more, if needed. By fostering, you directly help us save other dogs by freeing up space to help more dogs in need. Fostering does come with one big hazard that can also be one of its biggest rewards - you just might fall in love and become a "foster fail!"
